Residential Home InspectionsWe provide both pre-purchase and pre-listing residential house inspections performed to the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standards, covering all of the major systems of houses including the entire structure, windows, doors, roofing, decks, balconies, grading and grounds, plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical, insulation, interior / exterior finish, etc. We encourage our clients to attend the inspection, and welcome any questions or concerns you might have.
Residential Pre-Listing Inspections
Having your house inspected before putting it up for sale has the following benefits:
•Demonstrates a good faith effort to disclose the condition of the house and its components on the part of the seller.
•Issues of concern can be rectified prior to the listing of a house, thus preventing problems from occurring during the course of a transaction.
•If you choose to rectify or make improvements to items expressed in the inspection as needing attention, the final report will be revised after EXCEL has confirmed the work has been completed.
It's just good business!
A pre-listing inspection is just good business. It may facilitate a smoother transaction by putting potential buyers at ease, reducing negotiating points, and bypassing stressful delays.
